I bet if you measured really well they would even drill your holes. Make daddy proud too when he sees your handy work
The one thing with the plexiglass is that you need to keep masking take down when you drill or if could crack. I'd go with the thinnest you could get away with but thick enough that a drill and zip tie hold it without cracking. When it's all together take pictures so that we can see
