However, they are not sure about taking pets with us, because it is only voluntary and because they active duty personel would be staying behind. My sistuation is a little different being that my husband is deployed to the midde east, I would have to leave them here in the kennel or find someone to keep them. People leaving here could be gone for months....So with all that, I have decided that my kids and I are staying here. Theres no danger to us, if the situation arises and we HAVE to evacuate or things seem to be getting worse for us, we will do so and will be able to take Bella and Blossom along with us. Gas and kerosene is getting low, but they are announcing that our schools will be opeing up on Monday, so thats good news. Our Commissary(grocery store) Is stocked and has PLENTY of food. We are a small, close knit community here and everyone is making decisions based on whats best for them...we are working hard to help our Japanese host with clean up and relief efforts are ongoing as our base is the HUB for USAID. I will try to update as I get more info, but right now all is as good as to be expected right now....please continue to pray
God Bless | My heart goes out to you and your family. I don't even have words to say how shocked and saddened I am by the whole situation in Japan. Stay safe and I will be praying for you every day. |
