A couple of months ago, I had a bad experience with someone acting as a breeder that I now know was probably a "broker". When she told me she could "get one" [puppy] with a little time and that she didn't allow visitors to her "kennel" for fear of germs, I figured I'd better run. Then I also ran into a place in N.E. TX that sells "teacups" (I know) for between $1500 to $11,000 to "celebrities" and people can "bid" for them on the net, sight-unseen, for prices less than what you'd pay if you showed up in person. Hhhhmmmmm. If my random experiences are representative, there is a lot of crookedness in this business........ makes me think of the hastles of purchasing from a used car salesman.... Thanks, all.
Your referral to a used car salesman is pretty close to what it is... There are just so many back yard breeders, brokers and scamers out there it gets scary I know. Have patience and continue your search and the right, healthy, beautiful puppy will come along.
Sorry I didn't see your message earlier.
