I do have one suggestion for you. You mentioned moving into a new home soon, how exciting for you. You may want to wait to bring home a new addition to the family until you and your family are settled into your new home completely. Best not to have the added confusion to the newcomer amongst all of the moving in process. The less confusion the better. Just the new surroundings alone can be a stressful situation on a tiny Yorkie.
