I don't know current prices or recommendations of eye centers, but I'm sure you will find one. You are wise not to go for the cheapest; eye care is not the place to skimp on money. Having it done while you are young will give you the benefit of savings of not having to buy contacts for life. It will pay for itself.
Today's prices are a bargain anyway compared to what I paid in 1999, ($4,000. per eye) in Honolulu. Technology and equipment has improved since then too. Good luck.
