I think it's a great idea. There actually was recently a walk in protest/support/love for the Whistler 100 Huskies. I don't think any funds were raised, but there was a HUGE turnout. I was sad that I didn't get a chance to make it to it. I know a new petition to the government has come out of it, trying to make tougher laws for animal cruelty.
