Jed will do the same thing! Not so much the chirping but will sit at my feet and huff!
If I stand at the sink for very long washing dishes...same thing. If I am sitting in the living room, Jed feels like he "needs" to be in my lap. If I am busy, he will sit with someone else but as soon I sit...he is leaving them and charging at me.
