The whole story sounds conflicting. I am not sure what really happened but the beating was I'm sure unnecessary. One says he was in the yard and purposely ran down the dog and was carrying a gun, the other says he did not go in the yard and the gun was unloaded, used to scare coyote... I don't think coyote are scared of an unloaded gun! Just weird. Curious to know what the court charges will be but either way, noone deserved to be beaten that badly even if he did intentionally run the dog over. (which he should be in jail for!)
