not sick at all. Sometimes it is better for the dog than go through the process of giving birth. Yorkies are not easy to whelp. Too many things can go wrong and you could end up losing her.
There is a lot of info in the breeding section, but you really need someone physically with you when you have no experience. Check for a breeder in your area who would be willing to mentor you and help you.
