@ LoALAnna: Yes they are doing the x-ray guided, and they said I will have "light anesthesia". What does your DH have to do after he gets the injections? Will I have to take the next day off from work?
My husband was told that is was "best" to take off the next day, but mainly he needed to rest. That meant not to sit longer than 15-20 minutes at a time (sitting puts too much pressure on the spine) and to make sure he walked a bit every few hours. He works a very physically demanding job, so thats why taking off was a good idea. He doesn't get the shots now, as his condition was beyond epidural help. He had spinal surgery last July.
