12 weeks is a great time. I wait until 16 weeks that way they can be bile acid tested and have their full compliment of vaccinations, been completely checked by the vet (inclusive of having their hips and knees checked out thoroughly) minus rabis. Each pup is an individual.....but, the minimum is 12 weeks and the minimum of 2 pounds. You want to make the transition as easy for the pup as well as the new families.

Great on the spay/nueter contract.
