They don't run a fever with kennel cough. Usually antibotics are given as a preventative against pneumonia but does not treat the cough. You can use a warm mist vaporizer or take her into a steam filled bathroom....either of those usually help.
Kennel cough is contagious and if you have other dogs in the home...they may catch it also.
