Oh, I know you are scared. I have had many epidurals for back pain and now they do it all so smoothly that the fear is the only bad part. My last one I only felt the "bee-sting" of the local and a bit of pressure and blessed numbness. It is scary but really, getting up on the table to get the procedure is what hurts! Try not to be scared as you will be in the hands of professionals who do this over and over every day and know that there will be many prayers for you. |
