Keep an eye on Chester. Are you able to give him any liquids? Is there another vet clinic you could call? What about your normal vet. Do they have an emergency number listed on their answering machine or answering service? |
I was able to give him half a syringe of water and he took it readily. I don't want to give him so much at a time that he throws up again. So far he still hasn't thrown up again and it's been about 30 minutes. I will still stay up with him the rest of the night, but I'm feeling a little more positive that we can make it until the vet opens in the morning.
And unfortunately, there is only one emergency clinic in this town. I was searching for an emergency number listed at any of the vets around here and haven't found one as of yet. Since he seems to be doing better, I might just wait and see...
