I am so lucky that I don't have food guarding issues. Well, I didn't anyway. I have switched from free feed to homecooking. Remy is the slowest eater, sometimes Bailey (fastest eater) will go to "check" out how she is doing after he finishes. Remy will make a gerrrrr sound, then she will let him have some of her food. She is 4.5 labs bailey is 26 lbs. so I try very hard not to laugh.
I have issues with Sammy guarding a toy. He will take one and go to sleep with his paw on it... Of course at that point Remy (being a yorkie has to have the toy
Sammy has) tries to get it. She will just take toys from Bailey, but she is a little afraid of Sammy. It is funny. If Sammy growled at her I remove him from the room, but so far it is just the paw.
