I'm definitely a believer. We totally stopped the cycle of stressed out behavior. And now even though the contents of the jar have run out, she is calm when she gets put in her pen.

I have made a couple of changes to her routine in the meantime. Tallulah now has the freedom of the kitchen, hall, and bathroom (all tiled) when I have to leave her at home. She is about 75% pad trained (was about 90% there but this colitis problem she has had really set her back a lot), and if she has an accident it's an easy clean up. She has access to all her toys and two beds in the area, and is a lot happier there. She still goes in her mesh pen when her chauffeur (my niece) brings her home from Yorkie Camp and at bedtime - after some snuggle time in my bed until she's asleep.

I hope it works for Duke as well as it has for Tallulah. That reminds me that I wanted to get another jar to have on hand for stressful times or when we travel. Please keep us posted.
