Lasik is amazing and definitely one of the best life changing things I have done. After a lifetime of being so nearsighted that if I lost glasses or contacts I could not see well enough to drive, or even see clearly across the room, I was amazed at how great it was to open my eyes in the morning and see clearly. No worries about being in the ocean and losing lenses and feeling blind. Such freedom!
I think insurance should cover lasik, and it should be available for everybody who wants it. At least the equipment is even better and prices lower than when I had it done 11 years ago.
