I find Kwik Sew patterns are very good. I live in Hungary so my daughter sends them to me from New Zealand. She has just sent me a McCall's Craft one. I use some cheap fabric first and roughly make it up then try it on them. That way I can alter the pattern to fit Sylvester or Lili.
