I have heard of the project through my online crochet reading. On my list of things to do once I can crochet again. (Recent surgery to correct the nerve problem that was keeping me from one of my fav hobbies!). I think it is a worthwhile project, especially because it puts you in direct contact with a local shelter. You might see other needs while you are there or even find a new friend!
