I had a similar prob with Tiki at first, and what worked for us is giving her some finely diced boiled chicken (very hard to resist), sprinkled on top of her other food. Some people put some parmesan cheese on their food as the smell is supposed to attract them, or give a little cottage cheese.

You have to be careful about giving Nutrical too often, as I've heard it can trigger a hypoglycemic attack if it is not warranted, and also it will make the pup less hungry. Keep it for emergency use, and try other foods first.
