But when you guys say "raw" do you actually mean a hunk of raw steak, or are you using those pre-packaged raw dog foods (i.e. Natural Balance, Nature's Variety, etc). Would feeding this type of food be as beneficial as a raw steak? (Although I'd imagine it'd be better than 100% kibble, right?)

some feed the raw from companies that make it specifically for dogs, and there are people who do their own raw food as well. In the end, raw food is raw food. Sometimes, it is a bit cheaper to do it yourself. But when you do it that way, you just have to be sure your babies are getting all of the foods and nutrients they need. Whereas with the pre-packaged ones, everything is already there.
