i have a question about one of the issues listed....that vets get a big profit on preventative meds. it just reminds me about this summer when i bought hartz heartworm preventative at nearly a third of the cost of frontline. when i mentioned it at the vet they said they treat many dogs at the e.r. vet they own for serious reactions, etc. so i bought the frontline & took the hartz back. wondering now...were they trying to make a quick buck or is there really an issue with hartz?
