When we lose a family member, the first holiday is the very worst. The pain is more than you can explain or others can understand. But, slowly, our hearts heal and though there will always be a scar where that baby lived, we can find peace eventually. Sometimes, our solace is found in another puppy! Sometimes, the very thought of another little being is more than we can bear.
