AND...the top line does not change with situations...when I was a novice I would hear people say the top line was off becasue the dog was nervous or stressed..whatever excuse...
A level top line stays level, no matter..if a dog can roach his back up in situations, the top line is just not correct....just as bad when it is down in the shoulders, but does look as bad...neither should be used for breeding.

To me it is the most important feature as a dog enters the ring...bad top line..I rarely take a second look...
