Good idea about not feeding after midnight. We are back home. He went potty (a little loose from the stress of the vet visit I am sure), and now he is eating some kibble, so that is good. I'll make sure he gets plenty before midnight.
Thanks for all the kind words. They really do help. I cannot tell you how bad I feel...I've cried several times about it. I was trying to not cry in front of the vet and I was fine until she said, don't feel bad, these things happen. She must have seen it on my face even without me crying. Ugh.
But, I am thankful that things are not worse. When I was in with Peyton I could hear a few people coming in with their pets. One had cancer and the other was having seizures. So sad.
Peyton's knee has a very good chance of making a full recovery. That is the thought I am going to try to hold onto.
