Well, they finally brought him back from x rays...it took so long. He has a fractured growth plate in his knee.
I am glad we went ahead with the x ray. The initial exam was good, this was just to be sure.
Anyhow, they said surgery was an option. Recovery from surgery is a couple weeks. The other option is to sedate him, wrap it, and bring in for checks and rewraps frequently. Based on the fracture she said it has a good chance to heal on it's own. It may take 4 weeks. If it does not heal on it's own, then we can do surgery.
