I know I don't have near the experience some of the others do (as this is my first puppy). Tess is 3 months old and she sleeps all night. I keep her in a very small blocked off area about the size of her doggie bed. She goes to sleep between 9 and 10 and wakes up about 6 and she holds it all night. A crate is a good idea, but I sort of made my own "crate" area as I never really caught on to the whole crate training thing since I'm home all day. She is about 95% house trained at this time, but does sleep all night and hold it all night. I would try the crate at night if I were you and definitely put it in another room. She'll cry at first, but you must ignore her and pretty soon she'll realize that's where she needs to sleep and will accept it. Let us know how it goes!!
