Bevo has slept with me since he was about 4 months old. He slept in his playpen at first because I thought Id roll over on him and crush him. But, he had his own plan!! He snuggles right up against me UNDER the covers. He is still pretty small at 2 1/2, but Ive never hurt him in bed!! He knows when to move!
