I really appreciate all your well wishes. I finally got sleep last night, but now its all settling in. I really can't believe we are here. It all happened so fast!
Dr. called and said TJ was doing well. He is already peeing from the new hole, he said it's a bit inflamed but that is expected. TJ is on the Fentanyl so at least his pain is under control. But I can't help to think how scared and confused he is...
Dr. said he is only eating a little bit, they are giving him Hills l/d
We are going to visit him today, I asked if I should bring some food for him, bc in my mind I couldn't help to giggle a little bit, when Dr. said the liver food they are feeding him is probably very similar to what I feed, but he just isn't eating a lot of it. I homecook for them, so trust me his home food is very very different. So this morning I am making some fresh batches to bring to him. I miss him so much
Roxy is not herself either. She is very quite, when she normally would have anxiety barking bursts. Her potty behavior is 100% perfect! She keeps looking around for him. This morning when we came downstairs to eat, I put her plate down and she ate, but was shaking the entire time. I think she is stressing over him too. I am going to bring her to the hospital to see him, hopefully it will reassure her that he's still here.
What a weekend.
Thank you all for helping me through it
