Dogs eat grass when their tummies are already upset. I forget if it induces vomiting or it settles their stomach, but either way they are eating it because THEY DO NOT FEEL GOOD.
If your baby has been puking all day, and is still puking, you NEED to get the poor thing to the vet ASAP. These little ones can go poorly very quickly due to their small size. Dehydration and hypoglycemia are very real risks and if your pup hasn't been keeping anything down all day... I would be worried and on my way to the vet now.
Feeding dogs human food is NOT good. You can home cook for them, but it is a delicate balance of nutrition to do it correctly to make sure they are getting the nutrients that they need. You cannot just feed them human food all willy nilly. If you want to home cook correctly, you need to research and talk to a dog nutritionist. Otherwise, feed your pup a good quality dog food. |
