I did notice however, you mentioned picking him up on the 24th. If you mean 24th of this month that would make him only 52 days old or approximately 7.5wks old and a bit. It truly is best with this small breed that they stay with their Mom's until at least 12 wks old and about 3lbs, before they go home.

As I read through this forum I see that waiting until 12 weeks is the norm. I wasn't aware of it before now because other dog breeds we have experienced around 8 wks was old enough. I will speak with her about this concern. Thanks for letting me know.
