He should have been able to tell you the measurements of the cervix, each of the puppies heads and give you a close estimate about expected growth (to birth) and be able to give you an educated measurement for each. Go back and tell him you want to know all the measurements and the cervix and position and to estimate based on his knowledge. Anyway, that is what I would do. Good luck.
