You probably won't convince too many members here that a Yorkie puppy should go to its new home before 12 weeks and I would definitely questions a vet who would say different. Breeders who let them go early usually do so because this is the age when they start getting expensive - food, vet visits, puppy pads etc. - because the mama stops providing for them. But if you feel comfortable nobody here is likely to change your mind. Just make sure you get that first vet visit within a couple days of bringing the puppy home.

Also, I noticed in your first post that you referred to Riley as your first puppy and here you note that Harley was bought from the same breeder at the same age. Can you clarify? Just wondering if you are prepared for the demands this puppy will put on you for the first few weeks or even months.
