I agree. I know she was wrong for not going and showing her proof if insurance but the whole ordeal cost over 1500.00. Since her plates were also suspended they wouldn't even let us drive it home. They had it towed and we had to pay for that and to have it towed to our house which ran 390.00. A few days after this her RA flared so bad she couldn't even go up the stairs at her apartment so she had to come home until we got her to the doctor to drain her knees. I know it was from all the stress.
