Hello Everyone!
I have a yorkie/bichon mix named Wally, he is just over 7 months old. We got him at 3 months old, and quickly had him potty trained around 4 months. So for the last 3 months he has been generally sleeping perfectly through the night. Only occasionally needing to go out once during the night, maybe twice a week.
Lately, however, Wally will whine and bark at least two times every night to go outside. Most of the time he will potty, but some times it is just to go outside.
We have been playing very hard with him during the daytime; he take him hiking, to the park and the beach, and to play with our friends dogs. He is a very busy puppy so I would think that he would be tired at night and sleep.
I haven't tried pulling his water bowl a little while before bed (I'm not sure that is a good idea).
Has anyone experienced this? I'm hoping it just a teenager-puppy stage.
