Thanks...that is good advice. Thank you Cathy for all your recommendations, I think the balance-it is working well. I have the recipes also.
Because of my Food and Nutrition background it is easier for my brain to understand the calories... some of the recipes were a bit confusing to me.
One site said a 20 lbs dog should eat 2 cups of homecooked food a day. That was way too much..
I can visualize 200 calories.. I am working on about 500 calories for Bailey (25 lb shih tuz who needs to loose about 5 lbs).. Well Sam somewhere in between.
