For leash pulling, read this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/tra...h-pulling.html

The methods described by Chattiesmom and Quicksilver helped me with my champion puller. He needs a refresher course every once in awhile.

Barking on walks is an ongoing challenge for me with Max. I worked hard on socializing him with other dogs and people and he improved, but now he barks at dogs we can't safely meet. He does great when I have plenty of time and nice weather to take him on regular outings to different places to challenge him. However, when life become routine, he starts getting territorial about his neighborhood and barks.

Expose your pup to as much as safely possible. Try an obedience class. First and foremost is teaching your pup to pay attention to you when you are outside. Work on basic obedience inside your home, things like "watch me" and sit, down, and so on.
