Yay!!! Hercules came to me when I called his name!!! We are moving in June to St. Louis from Tampa and I want him to have learned some basic commands before we go. And I suppose that learning his name is the best way to start.
I know that terriors are extremly smart, but what is the best way to potty train, and teach basic commands (sit, stay etc...) I'm having a horrible time potty training. I am using wee wee pads and he will go on them every now and then, but he will pee on the arm of the couch were he sits next to me almost everytime he sits with me. I will have him go before he comes and sits with me, but it's like he saves some just to go on the couch. It's very frustrating. I need to get him potty trained right way. He's been with me for 3 weeks and I find little puddles all the time not to mention the little piles.
I just want to be able to take him to family homes without having to worry about him piddling on the carpet. Thanks for any advice!
