I can proudly say that I've been driving for 34 years and have never gotten a ticket. (knock wood). lol
My daughter who will be 20 next week got a ticket when she was 18 for exactly what your daughter got hers for. She just had surgery on her knee about 2 weeks before and she had a knee immobilizer on her left leg and she was stopped but also was trying to put her seat back a little because her seat was too close probably rolled a bit also. Cop didn't even want to hear it. Her ticket was about the same $140 or so.
I hate those phone calls that begin with a somber "mom". My heart just can't take it.
