I think the problem comes in when you find something they won't choke on and they end up breaking teeth on it instead. If there is no give when you push your finger into it, then it is probably to hard for their teeth. And if it's too hard for their teeth and one breaks, it will probably have to be pulled for $500+. So I have no advice except that the CET chews are probably fine in most cases as long as your pups aren't getting little pieces off that they could choke on.
