 tsunami-Hawaii
Hi All,
I had to evacuate at 10:30pm last night with my doggies and few emergency things. Luckily made it across the island and upcountry to my daughter's in 2 hrs., before they closed the roads. Much better up here than living in my car w/4 nervous doggies. We are fine. A friend walked down the closed roads to check on my home, which is ok, except for plants & fence toward the ocean that got knocked over.
Hope roads will be open later so we can go home and get some good sleep. This wears me out. But, I feel grateful that there wasn't worse damage and that we are safe. The poor folks in Japan. |
