It is like I said B4, terriers will be terriers. If some critter gets into a terrier's own back yard, they are genetically programmed to attack, though I don't know if that applies to most Yorkies - mine back off at the last minute but they still go. Still, it could happen I guess and that is only one of the reasons I have to watch Tibbe when he is out in the back yard - he would go after a tiger and I could not stand it if another animal hurt him, let alone did it while on my own, fenced property. Silly as it sounds with a 5.3 lb. Yorkie, I have placed "Beware of Dog" signs in my back and front yards just to let all know I have a dog on this property. |
