Thank you for the warning! I even never THOUGHT of him swallowing a clip if it came out. I'm so glad Lily didn't need surgery. But since Wendell is new to us, I don't know if he would do that or not. So I'll quit using the clips.
I put in a tiny rubber band this morning with a small amount of hair and so far he has left it in. The hair on top is still pretty short, so the pony tail sticks straight up. My husband said it made Wendell look like a Samauri!
