If you only have $400 to spend on a puppy, I would wait and save up some more. When you get the puppy, you have to take it to the vet, which can run you $50-100 just for the first trip. Then within 2-3 months you will need to get them fixed, which can run to $250. Plus new toys and bedding, if you're like me, will be ALOT of $$$. Then food every week, or if she/he gets sick. It's ALOT of money for a dog. And whether you believe your dog will get ill or not, it happens!

Please think alot before adopting a new baby.

If you've thought about it, and still want to adopt one. Check Puppies for Sale, Dogs for Sale and Dog Breeders they have tons of adoptable furbabies to look through. From 8 weeks to 8 years. I'm sure you'll find something for you. Good luck! Yorkies are such a joy.
