When they first announced the new season, I read the bios of all of the people and most of them went in hating Russell. So....the fact that his team did what they did comes as no surprise....but it is not really survivor. My prediction is that they will go down because of it....Of course, I could be dead wrong, but they deserve it. They are as low as they say he is. That really IS Survivor....being a b**** imo. Outlast and outwit. Oh, maybe those who ride coattails win the money, but they don't win the game imo. I don't watch to see who wins so much as I enjoy the strategizing. |
I agree that Russell was a great player, and I believe his confidence and bravado are genuine. His passion for playing the game, I believe is sincere and evidenced by the tears. I have respect for some previous contestants who went far by winning individual immunity challenges and garnering the respect of the rest of the tribe, but I really appreciate the strategists, especially the ruthless ones.

That is the game. When I first started watching Survivor (missed season 1 and that wild bunch), I thought it was a physical test and social test, a popularity contest. The *outwit* part is what makes the game really interesting.
