It's a sad day not only for the battle against puppyimlls today, but for human rights also. The Missouri Sate Senate overturned many of the main laws that voters voted for in Prop B, the Puppymill Cruelty Prevention Act.
I know this is not even in my country, but if it can happen there, it can happen here. we are supposed to live in a democratic society in North America...there is NOTHING democratic about Senators being able to adjust and overturn laws that were voted on as a majority. That is wrong and I urge everyone in Missouri to write to your senators telling them how you feel!!!!
We can't sit back and let this happen...we have to speak up for not only the poor pups that will continue to suffer, but for ourselves. for us to be able to have a say in what goes on in our countries as we are supposed to. for us to know that our vote DOES count!!!! and to know that we aren't idly sitting back while puppies and dogs suffer tremendous torture in our backyards..... please speak up for these dogs because they can't do it themselves...but you can.
