Welcome to YT!! I'l be getting my 1st Yorkie pup on Saturday, and I'm so excited!! I know what you mean about knowing more about cats. I'd probably consider myself more of a "cat person", because I think I'd love just about any cat, but I only like *certain* types of dogs. You'd never know it based on how spoiled and loved my 12 yr Lhasa is- no one told him I was a "cat person". LOL!! You'll find a wealth of information here; good luck with your new family member!
