I'm so sorry for your loss...you might want to remove everything with her scent on it, wash everything you can and try to take Bela on a lot of outings for the immediate...we went through something similar and it just takes time, but I noticed my dogs would smell where Peanut's scent was and then search around so I had to go trough and remove and wash it all and basically get her scent gone and I took them out a lot which helped a bit if they were exercised more they were less apt to focus on it...but the first thing they did was go to her scented things when returning until we got it all gone...took about another three weeks before they stopped looking for her though...not sure if that's the right or wrong thing to do but that's what happened here... |
