Cry Arabella's big sister crossed the rainbow bridge

Last night we lost our 14yr old Greyhound Bailey, better known as Big girl. Bella keeps looking for her around the house and outside. We are grieving and I am not sure what Bella is thinking. Is there anything that I can do for her as I don't want her creating anxiety for herself by looking for her big sister. Or is her behavior normal?

A little background on their relationship. Bella in the last month had become Bailey's advocate. If Bailey was out of food or Bella sensed she wanted fresh water, she would come get me to fix the problem. If they went outside, Bella would let me know when Bailey wanted in or if she was taking too long she would whine to go back out. I would tell her go get big girl and off she would go to tell her mom said come in. Without fail she'd come back with her.

Thank you for any advice you can give.
