This is your day to enjoy and look for that perfect dress. I think if you were constantly worrying about her in the car or being kicked out of the stores you are just not going to enjoy this wonderful exciting day. I think she will be just fine at home. She will be safe and will probably sleep most of the time. I would just leave her in a small room unless she has full run of the house and can be trusted.
